The Komodo National Park is a World Heritage site in the Flores Sea and consists of the three larger islands of Komodo, Rinca and Padar. Because of its unique geology and as a result of volcanic activity, this makes for stunning scenery both above and below water. The islands feature a dramatic wild savannah landscape with patches of forest, especially on the southern hills of Komodo and Rinca. White and reddish sandy beaches, blue lagoons teeming with fish and some of the most spectacular underwater sceneries in the world entice divers and guests from all around the globe. The underwater topography is as varied as the marine life it protects.

Day 1:
We will greet you on arrival at the airport, assist you with luggage and escort you to the boat at Labuan Bajo Harbour which is a drive of around 20 mins. While your luggage is transferred aboard, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and a tour of the facilities aboard. You will also meet the rest of the team and receive a safety briefing for your stay with us.

Once you are settled, we will then depart the harbour for a 2 hour crossing to Sebayor Island. Snacks and drinks are available during the crossing and lunch will be served once we arrive. The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy a snorkel or an introductory dive in the beautiful waters off the island.

We will then sail or motor to Pink Beach, around 2 hours, and during this time you may wish to enjoy spa treatment from our Talika Spa therapist. A perfect way to round off your first day. As the day ends with a stunning sunset over the Komodo Island hills, the evening rounds out with a superb gourmet meal we will moor
overnight in a beautiful secluded cove.

Day 2:
After a superb breakfast, we head ashore to the most beautiful Pink Beach which gets it’s name and color from crushed red coral blended with sugarsoft white sand. This pristine beach is perfect for a dive or snorkel in the many shades of torquoise waters, with the underwater scenery as beautiful and full of life as the one above it. Here we have the opportunity to go trekking in search of the legendary Komodo Dragon. Guided by Park Rangers, the walk will take you along promising paths where the native wildlife is in abundance. On the lookout for exotic birdlife and flying lizards in their natural habitat, this trek usually takes about 2 hours or until the famous and fascinating dragon is located.

Back onboard for a well deserved lunch, we then set sail to Toro Longkoi where there are plenty of beautiful bays to moor for the night. With the afternoon at leisure for snorkeling or diving, or perhaps another Spa Treatment, the evening brings with it a stunning sunset over the Komodo Hills.

Day 3:

After breakfast, we visit one of the well-known dive sites ‘Manta Point’, located in the south west of Komodo. This is a home to the famous Manta cleaning station. You have the opportunity to swim or dive surrounded by Manta Ray as they circle in an underwater ballet around you. Known as the most active area in all of Komodo because of it’s topography, three rocks in this deep bay are covered in an array of vibrant soft and hard coral gardens and home to large numbers of fish including species such as Tuna, Napoleon, Wrasse, Barracuda, and many many others.

After lunch onboard, we change locations for another dive. Here, turtles seem to be everywhere and you can expect to see many as we navigate the site. As well as diving with the shy turtles, you can also see giant trevalley, great and black-tail barracuda, and of course Manta Rays also make guest appearances. An afternoon spent beach-combing and snorkeling, or perhaps relaxing with a massage, the day ends with another spectacular sunset in a private bay.

Day 4:
After an early breakfast, we head to Padar Island where we anchor in a bay surrounded by stunning beaches. Padar Island is the third largest island in the Komodo National Park. It is famous for its long stretches of deserted white beaches. The bays are also perfect for whatever watersport you choose. We will spend the night on anchor in a secluded cove, and it is here we set up our beach barbeque on a soft white sandy beach.

Star-gaze, relax on plush white cushions and indulge in the freshest grilled seafood on offer, caught during the days sail and prepared especially for you by our Chef.

Day 5:
We depart early in the morning to set sail to Labuan Bajo, Flores, which is a cruise time of approximately 3.5 hours. Breakfast is served and then it’s time to prepare for disembarkation. Your luggage will be transferred to the airport and depending on the time of your flight, there may be time for one last interesting tour through the local markets, Batu Cermin. Your transfer to the airport will be arranged from this point an our representative will assist until you are ready to board your flight.
